Ryan OtoParent & Community Member

“If anyone is looking for a guidance counselor/college prep advisor for their high schooler, I highly recommend Fatimah Hussain. She's currently at UC Berkeley studying Computer Science. I've had her consult my son the last couple of months and she's been really helpful.”

Smita GyawaliParent of High School Student

“For any high schoolers looking for a 1-1 mentorship, I recommend working with Fatimah! My daughter got advice from her recently. She was very approachable, and gave her lots of valuable advice for her pre college path. She advised her to broaden her horizons and try new things such as engineering and research to become a more appealing applicant to most colleges. Her experience through high school that eventually led her to UC Berkeley was helpful for my daughter to learn about.”

Julie BrownParent & Nextdoor Neighbor

“My son is in high school. Fatimah is so bright! She communicates with me and my son. She can TUTOR any subject. If you are looking for a tutor, she is the one! She attends UC Berkeley!”

Read my story

I was the oldest daughter trying to understand applications, scholarships, and financial aid without someone who had already been through it. I wanted someone I could ask the small questions, too.

I want you to feel prepared for what comes after an acceptance letter, too. This program pairs you with someone who learns your story, helps you build practical skills, and supports your progress. The goal is confidence and independence you can carry through high school, college, and beyond.

Best,
Fatimah
