A little about me
- Liana Zhou contributed to NASA and the University of Michigan's SunRISE project, researching the origin and impact of solar flares.
- As first author, she presented her findings to over 300 attendees at a national space science conference and was recognized in NASA News.
- During her nuclear engineering internship, she developed LabVIEW automation software that continues to be used by the research group.
- She has interned with research teams in space science, nuclear engineering, and biochemistry over three summers.
- Beyond research, she enjoys teaching younger students how to design and build model rockets, combining software, hardware, and physics.
